OCCF scholarship deadline is March 1

OSCEOLA COUNTY — High school seniors looking for college scholarships have a limited time to submit an application through the Osceola County Community Foundation.

The OCCF awards scholarships each year to hard-working and motivated students from throughout the county. Since the program’s inception, more than $359,000 has been awarded to deserving students from every corner of Osceola County.

The student application process takes place entirely online, by accessing the application through the scholarships tab on the OCCF website, at occf.info. Applicants will be linked to the application site, through the Fremont Area Community Foundation, where the applications are processed and eligibility is verified. The deadline for submission of all application materials is at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.

Awards will be made at the senior recognition assemblies at each county high school in May.

For further information, students can see their high school guidance counselor or can contact the OCCF via the website.
