MOISD recognizes Career Center graduates

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT: Seniors at the Mecosta Osceola Intermediate School District Career Center were honored for their academic achievement on Thursday. The award ceremony included 44 honor students, 11 National Technical Honor Society students and four scholarship recipients. Students who have been with the career center for one year and had a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher, or students who have been with the career center for two years and had a GPA of 3.5 or higher were awarded purple cords. The cords will be worn during their high school commencements. Four students also received scholarships for their academic success, including Chester Essner, an Innovative Engineering student who received the $1,100 Robert D. Miller Scholarship.
