OSCEOLA COUNTY — Local churches will hold special services during Holy Week, the week before Easter Sunday.
Below is a list of churches and their respective Holy Week schedules:
Evart
Calvary Baptist Church, 636 N. Oak St.
- A community Good Friday service will begin at noon
- An Easter Sunday service will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Crossroads Community Church, 110 S. Main St.
- A Good Friday service will begin at 7 p.m.
- A community breakfast will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26.
- Easter Sunday services will take place at 9:30 and 11 a.m.
Evart United Methodist Church, 619 N. Cherry St.
- A Maundy Thursday service will take place at 7 p.m.
Easter Sunday services will take place at 8:30 a.m. (youth service) and at 10:30 a.m.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9878 U.S. 10
- A healing service will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
- Good Friday Stations of the Cross will take place at noon and Solemn Service will begin at 1 p.m.
- An Easter Sunday service will begin at 8 a.m.
Hersey
Hersey United Methodist Church, 200 W. 2nd St.
- An Easter Sunday service will begin at 11 a.m.
- A free Easter dinner will be offered to the public from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
LeRoy
LeRoy Evangelical Covenant Church, 201 Cherry St.
- There will be a community-wide Good Friday service at 7 p.m.
Marion
St. Agnes Catholic Church, 603 E. Main St.
- Seder Meal and Mass will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 24.
- An Easter Vigil service will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 26.
- An Easter Sunday service will begin at 10 a.m.
Reed City
Reed City United Methodist Church, 503 S. Chestnut St.
- A Maunday Thursday service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
- A Good Friday crosswalk will begin at noon; a service will take place at 7:30 p.m.
- An all-day Bible reading vigil will take place in the sanctuary on Saturday, March 26.
- An Easter Sunday sunrise service will begin at 7 a.m., followed by a breakfast; a second service will begin at 10 a.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church, 19778 U.S. 10
- A Maunday Thursday service will begin at 7 p.m.
- A Good Friday service will take place at 7 p.m.
- An Easter Sunday sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m.; breakfast will begin at 8 a.m.; an egg hunt will take place at 9 a.m.; and a festival service will take place at 10 a.m.
St. Paul Lutheran Church, 435 W. 5th
- A Maunday Thursday service will begin at 7 p.m.
- A Good Friday service will take place at 7 p.m.
- Easter Sunday services will take place at 8 and 10:15 a.m.
Reed City Church of the Nazarene
- An Agape Feast will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
- A Good Friday service will begin at 7 p.m.
- An Easter Sunday breakfast will take place at 9 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m.
