Free Diabetes PATH Workshop hosted in Reed City
REED CITY — Diabetes affects many people, and without treatment or awareness it can become worse.
Michigan State University Extension and the Osceola County Commission on Aging are partnering to offer a free Diabetes PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) workshop at the Reed City Senior Center.
The Diabetes Self-Management Program is designed to enhance patients’ confidence in their ability to manage their diabetes and to work more effectively with their health care providers.
This six-week workshop is from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 13, 20, 27 and June 3, 10 and 17, at the Reed City Senior Center, located at 219 E. Todd Ave.
The workshop is open to anyone with diabetes and/or those who want to learn more about living with diabetes and diabetes prevention. Family members, friends and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
