REED CITY — Two local events are slated to assist operations for those at the Hersey House of Hope.
A pulled pork dinner is slated to take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at he Reed City United Methodist Church.
For a free-will donation, attendees will receive a pulled pork sandwich, condiments, cole slaw, green beans, baked beans, dessert and a beverage.
The second event is a concert, which will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at the Evangel Assembly of God Church located on U.S. 10 west of Evart.
Just Jammin' featuring Pam Bowman will perform for all attendees and light refreshments will be available. Entrance to the concert is by free-will donation.
