Church offers program about dementia, Alzheimer's
EVART — Opening up a discussion to better understand and cope with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease is the goal of a potluck brunch and spring program at Evart United Methodist Church.
The public event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at the church, located at 619 N. Cherry St. in Evart. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass, while the church will provide breakfast casseroles, table service and beverages. A free-will offering will be collected.
Guest speakers including Donette Neal, a certified dementia care practitioner, and R. Todd Balkema, an elder law attorney, will talk about Alzheimer's and dementia.
