4 One Quartet featured in concert

BALDWIN — The final Songs and Sundaes concert of the summer will feature 4 One Quartet of Reed City at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28.

The concert series is sponsored by the Lake Community Bible Church at their outdoor Hillside Chapel, which also offers ice cream sundaes in the pavilion after the music.

The Quartet began their ministry in March of 2012. Their members feature years and years of experience singing Southern gospel music. Tenor Brad Ledbetter has been singing since 1987 and was part of the Swanee Boys Quartet. Lead singer Jim Quales has sung Southern gospel music since 1988 and was previously in Freedom Sound and Men of Grace Trio. Baritone Ray Ashmore started in 2008. He also plays the saxophone in their concerts. In the past, he has sung with the Blackwood Quartet.  Bass singer Will Funk was previously with the group Bought and Paid For.

At a time when there is so much bad news in the world, it is wonderful to be reminded through the medium of music that God is still in control and  He has given us the “Good News” to share and hope for the future. Bring the family and enjoy a time of uplifting, encouraging, God glorifying music and delicious ice cream sundaes with homemade toppings and more.

The church is located at 8033 Central Park Blvd., Baldwin, on the north end of Big Star Lake, just off Star Lake Drive. Bring a friend and a lawn chair or cushion for the bleachers, and be blessed. A love offering for the quartet will be received. For more information call (231) 898-2567 or (231) 898-6890.
