Are you one who prepares for retirement, but not the rapture? You prepare for everything, but not for eternity? Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am., there ye may be also." (John 1:2-3) That's what could happen next. Are you ready? Have you prepared? Has Satan distracted you with all the chaos and confusion today? This is not the first time Satan has blinded people to keep them from coming to Christ. It's called history. This is a subject that seems foreign to many today. However, we can be encouraged in these days. God is not threatened. God is not surprised. God knows sinners sin. God knows all have sinned. God has a plan. Jesus came, "To seek and to save that which was lost." (Lu.19:10) God is our hope. The multiple organizations destroying cities today are not new. The Devil has used them for hundreds of years. Satan is interested in killing, destroying, and deceiving. Wake up America! Jesus is coming again. What should we do? Be prepared, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:1-13) Until Jesus comes, live for God. Look for that blessed hope daily. Trust God and go on. We have a risen Savior, trust in Him. This world is not our home if you are a believer. He is preparing our mansion in heaven. Have you put your faith in Christ. He shed his blood for you. Live by faith. Seek the will of God. James says our lives are as a vapor. Don't wait. Don't hesitate. Believe God. He loves you. Settle your eternity now. Take Jesus as your Savior. He will save you. The believer should seek the face of God in prayer, read and study His Word, attend worship services often, witness for Christ's glory. It's about Christ not us. Jesus is coming again. You can comfort one another with these words. John said, "And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at this coming."(1 John 2:28) The question is will you be ashamed at his coming? It could be today. Be prepared.
