We need to step away from the chaos and confusion promoted by the devil and his crowd. Gather around the truth. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"(Psa. 133:1) We need to look past ourselves and turn to Christ. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) We need a revival in this country. Set aside the selfish and foolish self-interest. Return to God. Unity around the teachings of the Word of God is the answer. You can't ignore the truth and thrive. Our practice as a nation which is to leave God out. That is leading us over a cliff. Christ is the answer to the destruction we've witnessed. God is not the author of confusion. Unity is not following leaders who can't see the cliff ahead. Eternity is ahead. Prepare for it properly. What have you done with Jesus, the Son of almighty God? Admit you are a sinner and trust the risen Savior. Put your faith in Christ. He is the answer to the hopelessness and bitterness so rampant today. Listen to the testimony of those who knew Him personally. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3) It's not about us. Unity is about Christ. Confess your sin and seek God's forgiveness today. "Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."(Rom. 15:5,6) Listen to God's wisdom. We praise God for His care for us. He loves us. Thank God He offers us His wisdom when we are troubled in life. He provides help for us. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matt. 18:20) He hasn't abandoned us. Trust God and go on. There is help if you will accept it. You choose. Don't wait. Don't hesitate. Trust Christ now.
