We have a command from God to bring him glory. "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."(1 Cor.10:31) How does repeating lies and hateful statements bring God glory? Does that constant bitter attitude bring glory to God? We need to remember whose we are. "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."(1 Cor 6:20) We need to be instruments for God not ourselves. We need to be careful what we do in our bodies as well as what we put into our bodies. Legal and illegal drugs can be a death sentence. Is that you, trying to glorify God? If you have put your faith in the risen Savior, Jesus, then your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. How do you treat His temple? When filthy nasty language pours out of your heart through your mouth, does that bring glory to God? We must praise God. "Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God."(Psa. 50:23) Wake up America! "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."(2 Pet. 3:9) Jesus saves. Trust Christ today. Reject Christ at your own peril. Call on Jesus for forgiveness of sin and salvation by His grace. We should praise God for many things today. Praise God for the Bible. He gives us His directions. Praise God for the family. Praise God for the local bible believing and preaching church. We owe glory and praise to God for our great Nation. Support freedom and liberty. Don't take it for granted. We need to order our lives to please our Savior. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, And glorify your Father which is in heaven."(Matt. 5:16) Bring God glory that he deserves. Jesus said, "I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do."(John 17:4) Now we need to do our part to share the gospel with lost sinners. There is no hope in eternity without Christ. Hope in God today. Put your faith in Christ today. "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."(Rom. 11:36) Glory to God. \u2014 Pastor David Stiles is the pastor at Baldwin Baptist Church.
